Forearm Functional Line

It is a pathway that represents the functional connections of the body, a pathway in which multiple anatomy train lines work in conjunction with each other. These lines play an important role in body movement and performance.

Here are some representative functional lines and their related anatomy train lines:

Forearm Functional Line: A pathway from the forearm to the upper arm that supports wrist and elbow movements. The forearm functional line includes the dorsal brachial muscle pathway and the palmar brachial muscle pathway, which are part of the arm line.

Lateral Spiral Line: A pathway that controls the body's rotational and external rotational movements. This line includes the lateral line, part of the spiral line, and the dorsal brachial muscle pathway, part of the arm line.

Medial Spiral Line: The pathway that controls the body's internal rotation and actions. This line includes the medial line, part of the spiral line, and the palmar brachial muscle pathway, part of the arm line.

Functional lines are responsible for the integrated performance of specific actions or functions. Any imbalance or constraint can result in less efficient operation and performance. Anatomy Train aims to optimize body movement and performance by adjusting functional lines.

Functional line conditioning involves improving exercises and movement patterns that promote flexibility and strength in the lines and muscles involved.
